What is self storage and how does it work?

Renting a storage unit is a great solution to clear up some much-needed space at home or to hold much needed business items. Here at We R Self Storage, we offer clean, secure storage solutions at affordable prices.

How much does self storage cost?

Our rates vary between unit sizes and type of storage. For more information about our pricing, check out our rates page.

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

What is the best way to pack a unit?

Larger and more infrequently used items should go in the back of the unit. Remember to keep a walkway in the center of your unit to more easily access items. Always keep items labeled and a list of items stored, even a photo on the outside of each box will allow you to "see" what's inside.

What are some helpful tips for moving into my unit?

We pride ourselves on making things as simple as possible for our customers. For helpful tips on packing and organizing your unit, head on over to our storage tips page.

When can I move in?

If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in anytime after your electronic contract is signed. 

How much notice needs to be given before I move out?

We ask for at least 10 days' notice. We do not prorate on move-outs.

What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport).

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

No, we rent on a month-to-month basis.

How do I make a payment?

You are more than welcome to pay in person, mail a check or money order, make a payment through our website, or have your monthly payment automatically deducted from your debit/credit card.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover and cash.

Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?

Yes. We sell all moving supplies and various packing necessities 

How do I know how much storage space I will need?

You can either use our Size Guide on our website or call our manager for assistance.

Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?

No. Once you have signed your contract you will be given your own security pass code that will allow you access to your unit 24/7.

Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?

Yes. You are welcome to use our complimentary carts to move in. Simply stop by the office and let us know if you need one!
